This censer, also called an "incense burner," allows for proper combustion of incense.
Place a lit charcoal disc inside, put a good pinch of incense on top, and replace the lid. The ventilation holes in the censer and the lid create an airflow that allows the ember to burn slowly and evenly. Under the heat, the incense releases its fragrance and perfumes the room.
We always recommend leaving a layer of ash at the bottom of the censer. Before the first use, place an unlit charcoal disc in the bottom; it will serve as a base on which you can place the next one, once lit. Be sure to read the illustrated instructions found elsewhere on the site.
