Instructions for use
The charcoal discs have been specially designed for burning incense.
You must always wait until the charcoal is fully glowing before placing incense on it. It is recommended to use an incense burner that is sufficiently large and has a lid with small openings.
The lid helps to retain heavy smoke, loaded with resin molecules that will settle inside the lid. Through the openings, the fragrant smoke will spread its benefits into the surrounding air.
If you do not yet have an incense burner, you can temporarily use a porcelain, ceramic, or iron cup or bowl. The container becomes very hot, so we advise you to place it on a piece of wood or an insulating material rather than directly on furniture.

Light the charcoal until it sparks.

Place in the incense burner and wait for the sparks to spread across the entire surface of the charcoal disc.

Add a pinch of incense and repeat this action at regular intervals throughout the duration of the ritual or as needed.

Natural incenses are resins. It may happen that, after some time, the resinous residues, including essential oils, have evaporated due to the heat of the embers and begin to produce an acrid smoke. In this case, discard what remains in the censer and light a new charcoal disc to continue burning the incense.
CAUTION!
Before throwing away the charcoal, ensure it is completely extinguished. Wait at least one hour after the last use. However, it is preferable to leave the consumed charcoal in the incense burner to form a layer of charcoal: this allows for free air circulation around and underneath the charcoal. Without air, the charcoal will go out.
Keep your charcoal discs in a dry place away from moisture, ideally in an airtight metal container.
