ANKH pendulums symbolize the Egyptian Ankh cross. Highly sensitive. For high-level dowsing and radionic applications. It emits all the waves found on the equator of the Universal Pendulum, but in particular the white wave, which is very strong, making it highly effective in teleradiesthesia.
It is useful to keep your pendulum in an individual pouch. In the pouch, you can add a sulfur disc or a small piece (taken from your sulfur stick), so your pendulum will be cleared of the aftereffects of previous tests and will be neutral for each subsequent use.

Why a wooden pendulum?
Upon reflection, whatever the material of a pendulum, we will always find an element, symbolic in most cases, that suits us and makes us choose one over another.Why a wooden pendulum rather than a brass one? I can only answer based on my own experience. I chose a wooden pendulum because it is by far the material most imbued with positive symbolism, laden with ideas of life and nature.
First of all, wood is the flesh of the tree, which is itself one of the richest, oldest, and most widely used of all symbolic themes.
Trying to classify the complexity, diversity, and subtlety of symbols, myths, legends, folklore, and images linked to the tree seems to me an impossible task from which springs the most important one: to serve as a link, which, until further notice, is also the task of the pendulum. And, if it is already imbued with the subtleties of what one is looking for, doesn't the dowser who has chosen the wooden pendulum start with a good head start and a greater chance of achieving what they seek?
Here are a few keys, gleaned here and there from the literature of the most well-known dowsers, which will indicate that we are on the right track.
Wood comes from the tree, the axis of the world around which the living cosmos is organized.
The tree is the thrust of life, perpetual regeneration, victory over death, the witness to cycles; the tree is nourishing, hence the very strong symbolism of regeneration that comes to mind.
The wood of the tree lives off water, air, and earth, and it provides fire. It is also very strong, and its flesh, which stands toward the sky, is also the link between heaven and earth, hence the inherent spirituality of man that expresses itself through the elevation of the soul, an initiatory ascension present in the very genesis of every religion.
At the foot of the tree, there is neither shadow nor echo, say the Chinese. That is another piece of symbolism that seems to give the wood from which pendulums are made its qualities. Neither echo nor shadow... nor aftereffects...
I know, from having read Jean de La Foye’s work closely, that it is very difficult to find a pendulum that does not become charged with the aftereffects of past activities, but we have sulfur to purify our pendulums if the need arises, an operation that is much easier to carry out, it seems to me, on a wooden pendulum than with certain pendulums that are true magnetic and electrical recorders.
The Chinese also say that the tree from which we derive our pendulums has nine branches and nine roots, through which it touches the nine heavens and the nine springs, the abode of the dead.
In other countries, the wood-made tree is both driven into the earth (of our material research) by its foot, and has its head bathed in the vapors of the sky (our future), which falls back as dew in the valley. The Indians say that it was in the shade of a tree that Buddha’s enlightenment took place.
So much for the symbolism, which we know has a very significant activity and greatly facilitates the quality of the research.
As for my work, I obviously do not use only one pendulum. I have several, but I admit that when I am in the quiet of my research office, after burning some well-chosen incense, the wooden pendulum serves as the best link for me. Like all light pendulums, it responds quickly thanks to its low inertia. But there are no drafts or physical movements to consider in that place; it goes without saying that when I do my research in the field, all the more so when it is windy and when I am forced to move around, I more readily take a less light pendulum, with a preference for the Thoth pendulum... but that is another story. Happy working...
