Medical astrology or astrological medicine? The purpose of medical astrology is to predict the state of health, predispositions to illness, serious, acute, or chronic conditions, critical ages and circumstances, and reactive possibilities based on a subject's birth chart. This is already a very vast field, and serious astrologers do not go beyond it.

But astrological medicine is the art of treating and even healing through the influence of the stars and their symbols. It allows for the selection of the most appropriate remedies in correspondence with the desired planetary influence or influences. There is nothing absurd about this, although it cannot be demonstrated by anything other than results. Yet, in practice, remedies well chosen according to their planetary signature prove to have a profound and rapid effect.

One could practice astrological medicine without a pendulum, based on correspondences and planetary signatures. But astrologers seem to have turned away from it, considering it pure fiction. However, if one selects the necessary harmonies using a pendulum, the result is perfectly individualized remedies. This is the step taken by a few dowsers who are by no means charlatans!
