- The large color chart
- The 44 colors of the large color chart are shades of the 10 colors of the color wheel to which a yellow-orange (color 3) has been added. These bright colors are found on the first row, at the bottom of the chart.

Mager's Rosette – Designed by dowser Henri Mager, this color selection tool is very simple and allows for a quick search of a few base colors. Simply hold the witness in your hand and place the pendulum over the Rosette: it will indicate the desired color.
I. Progressive heat scale of colors
- This is a rule analogous to the one in physics regarding the law of the progressive rise in the heat of bodies. Indeed, if, starting from cold, one gradually increases the heat of a body, it passes through a whole range of colors and radiations and gradually decreases in wavelength as it approaches incandescence, the site of the shortest waves.
II. Material color scale
- In the field of material or pigmentary colors, which are not pure colors because they result from the mixing of colors, we find seven main terms: violet - indigo - blue - green - yellow - orange - red.
III. Light spectrum scale
- White light, the synthesis of all lights, is formed by a certain number of colors which, not having the same refractive index, separate when white light is passed through a prism. One then obtains a spectrum of six colors (or seven, according to authors who add indigo): violet - blue - green - yellow - orange - red.

V. Achromatic color scale
- In other words, colors without color. This scale is used to choose shades from black to gray and white. It also allows for verifying the absorbent degree of a witness.
VI. Printing colors
- This scale allows for very accurately establishing the composition of a color intended for printing by determining the parts of each of the colors: black - yellow - magenta - cyan. No error is possible, because you give the printer the exact formula for the ink composition, which will be more accurate than comparing color samples.
