Lecher antenna

The application in radiesthesia of a discovery by the German physicist Ernst Lecher allows, with the antenna of the same name, the adjustment of its slider to the object sought, thereby creating a situation of resonance with the frequency of what one is searching for.

The antenna consists of a loop of two parallel wires on which a short-circuit (sliding cursor) moves, the position of which is adjustable for various radiesthesia research tasks, thanks to a millimeter scale.

Symmetrically, the weak electrical field detected passes through one of the two antenna wires equally and in the opposite direction to the current passing through the opposing wire.

It is these two wires arranged in a loop that allow, by setting the slider to the object sought, the creation of a situation of resonance with the frequency of what one is searching for. It is this resonance that breaks the balance and causes the antenna to turn in your hands.
