Become a healer with Abbé Julio

These spiritual practices – used for nearly a century – must remain complementary to the care provided by a doctor, whom no one can replace.

Suffering – whether physical or moral – must be fought by all means, and very often, spiritual practice as recommended by Abbé Julio allows for results akin to a miracle.

Born in 1844 in Cossé-le-Vivien in the Mayenne department, Abbé Houssay, or Julien-Ernest Houssay, better known by his pseudonym Abbé Julio, became known for his activities as a healer and magnetizer, using prayer formulas and mixing authentic Christian prayers with Gnostic, theosophical, and spiritualist formulas.

The son of a construction worker, he was the vicar of Le Grand-Oisseau in 1870. When the war broke out, he volunteered and became chaplain of the Volunteers of the West under General Henri de Cathelineau. In his memoirs, the latter insists on praising the heroic conduct of the brave Abbé Houssay. Having broken with Rome in 1885, he joined the Gallican Church of France. After making peace with his bishop, the latter appointed him parish priest of Pont-de-Ruan in Touraine, where he found an old "benedictional" from which he would draw the raw material for his future books. It was in this village that he would develop his gift for healing.
