A simplification of the superior ondiometer (chart No. 1), this double dowsing chart was designed for both the laboratory dowser and the dowser working in the great outdoors, as our goal is, of course, to make the work as easy as possible by reducing the equipment to the bare essentials.

It allows you to calculate directions, distances, balance and neutrality values, percentages, lengths, durations, numbers, directions in degrees, etc.

To illustrate our point, imagine a dowser working in ancient ruins where a permanent draft is blowing. Our scholar is looking for buried historical details. With one hand, he is holding his pendulum regardless; with the other, various objects that can help him in his research; all while having to constantly move over very uneven and sometimes dangerous terrain.

He has this chart and has therefore attached, with adhesive tape, the witness representing what he was looking for (probably a word-witness) in the center of the chart. He knows where North is and can therefore orient himself or ask the pendulum to indicate on the chart a direction in degrees relative to his current position. He can, immediately after receiving this first answer, check whether he is not falling victim to autosuggestion thanks to the percentage dial. He continues immediately after by asking the pendulum to indicate the distance in meters separating him from the object of his search in the direction already indicated. Etc. The wind can do nothing against our chart, which is rigid yet remains lightweight, whereas if it were made of paper or cardboard, our dowser would spend more time holding it than holding his pendulum...
