All future events are nascent in the present and the past. A future occurrence is directly linked, by invisible lines of force, to a very specific past event. All these lines of force are naturally connected to the human beings they concern;

There is, of course, providence, chance, free will, and the virtual. But experience shows that the deviations resulting from their action, while they may modify forecasts, only affect them on certain specific points and quite fortuitously.

However, our brain is not conditioned to easily unravel the web of events. It is to strive for this perception of causalities that, throughout time, recourse has been made to divinatory arts. There is nothing supernatural in them... One violates no secret by foreseeing the future, since the elements that constitute it already exist or have already manifested!
