Sulfur sticks

In dowsing, the use of a sulfur stick makes it possible to avoid errors due to remanence or parasitic waves, i.e., waves foreign to the material (object, photo, etc.) that you are testing. For it must be understood that bringing two materials into contact has the effect of mixing their specific vibrations.

Let us take an example: you are testing a photo of a woman, a photo that has spent several months in her husband's pocket. A strong remanence of the husband will be found in this photo; which will inevitably distort the answers to the questions asked about the woman.

If you place a product with strong vibrations (a medicine, for example) on your workbench, this spot on the table will be slightly impregnated with its vibrations. If, afterwards, you place another medicine there, the residual waves of the first remedy will merge with the vibrations of the second: hence the risk of obtaining inaccurate answers.

This is where the sulfur stick comes in: by sliding it over the photo or the work surface, to take our examples again, you will eliminate these residual vibrations with a flick of the hand. You will then work with much greater precision on a witness or on a surface that is clear, clean, and neutral, radiesthetically speaking.
