Medical I Ching - Urutaki 2

In his first volume, Urutaki, Francis Prade (1903-1991) explains his journey through his inner experiences. He speaks with unspeakable delight of his visions and the way in which he received his teaching: "What matters is, on one hand, the action of the invisible acting upon us and, on the other, the receptivity of the individual. Now, I have tried my whole life to develop this receptivity... and I have succeeded in making contact with higher elements that allowed me to grasp much knowledge that I would never have found on my own."

And it is the revelation of the fundamental link between the 64 squares of the Mercury square and the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching, as well as the projection of the body's geography onto this Mercury square and, from there, onto the hexagrams of the I Ching; which revolutionizes the foundations of traditional acupuncture.

In Medical I Ching, the second volume, Francis Prade presents what he considered to be the heart of his work: his personal version of the I Ching. It is not a new translation, but a commentary that focuses essentially on the medical aspect of each situation corresponding to the hexagrams.
